Colleague Experience Specialist

 

As a Colleague Experience Specialist, you will be the spark behind Colleague Experience across Sigma Connected. Your mission is to make sure our colleagues feel connected, supported, and celebrated every single day. You’ll design and run an exciting calendar of activities that boost engagement, reduce attrition, and create memorable moments for our people. From fun events to meaningful initiatives, you’ll be the go-to person for all things engagement on the ground. You will report directly into the Colleague Experience Manager.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

 

📞As an ambassador for Sigma Connected, you will live our values daily and actively inspire others to do the same. You will play a key role in developing and delivering the colleague experience plan, with a strong understanding of our strategic goals for the year. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you’ll drive the implementation of a people-first approach that enhances engagement across all levels of the organisation. You’ll welcome feedback, contribute fresh ideas, and help foster a culture built on transparency, fairness, and consistency. As a visible engagement champion, you’ll be accessible to colleagues, share best practices with our global team, and ensure a consistent and inclusive experience across regions.

 

In this role, you’ll act as a brand advocate internally and externally supporting communications, highlighting our initiatives, and always aligning your actions with our core values. You’ll use internal platforms, along with your design and social media skills, to maintain high standards of professionalism and inclusivity. With an understanding of our commercial model and project budgets, you’ll contribute effectively to strategic initiatives while staying cost-conscious. Whether working independently or with teams in the UK and South Africa, you’ll take part in communication and feedback sessions, lead engagement activities, and challenge the status quo where needed. Above all, you’ll bring our people vision to life—and support additional responsibilities as assigned by your line manager.

When it comes to design you are a Canva guru that can create eye-catching, professional content that really brings our content to life.

What amazing People will bring to the role

Requirements:

  • You have 1-2 years proven expertise in colleague experience; internal communications or a similar people focus role.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a BPO environment or a related industry.
  • You have experience of using system related tools like word, excel, teams as well as design tools like Canva.
  • You have an interest in social media and marketing as well as an affinity for people.
  • You have a passion for people and understand our company’s vision to underpin the values in the decisions we make.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to nurture strong working relationships with peers and stakeholders
  • You are an out of the box thinker with a collaborative approach.
  • You are a collaborative team player, however, can deliver projects working in silo delivering to sometimes tight deadlines.
