You are responsible for the effective leadership and performance of the Colleague Experience team across UK & SA. What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

📞 You have a deep understanding of BPO Operations and use this knowledge and experience to gain buy-in from stakeholders, influencing strategic activity within your area. You build and nurture exceptional internal relationships at a senior level, ensuring you're seen as a true business partner, constantly pushing boundaries to deliver in an ever-changing environment. Working closely with the HR Director and wider senior team, you help develop a highly effective Group departmental strategy, playing a leading role in shaping the Colleague Experience. You're accountable for driving and delivering strategies within your remit, ensuring clear success measures are in place, regularly reviewed, and adapted for high impact. You provide your direct reports with strategic direction and offer hands-on support and coaching to reach desired outcomes, always challenging the team to elevate performance. With a mindset of continuous learning, you stay updated on industry trends and use data and insights to refine the team’s focus areas while managing the Colleague Experience budget with support from the HR Director

 

Your influence extends across various people-focused initiatives, including driving employee satisfaction surveys, pulse checks, action planning, internal and external communications, and impactful recognition programs. You spearhead the DI&E program, “One Me, One Sigma,” ensuring it is both effective and evolving. You champion employee wellbeing, contribute meaningfully to CSR efforts impacting people, and develop the colleague-facing social and professional media strategy to strengthen internal and external brand identity. Your team supports the People & Talent teams through compelling communications, particularly in onboarding new clients. You work with external providers when needed, ensure insightful data is accessible and used for decision-making, and bring forward strategic proposals to enhance the Colleague Experience. Your relationship-building both internally and externally supports your department’s goals, and you maintain high engagement, performance, and development across your team through clearly defined objectives tied to departmental KPIs and company vision. You also undertake any other duties required by your line manager to contribute to the team’s overall success.

Requirements:

  • You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Colleague Experience leadership role, or similar.
  • You have a deep understanding of the BPO industry, and Operational leadership experience is highly advantageous.
  • You are highly creative and have an eye for detail.
  • You have a proven track record in developing and driving highly effective colleague experience strategies.
  • You have experience using digital tools like Canvas (highly advantageous)
  • You have a proven track record of building strong relationships with stakeholders that result in increased involvement in colleague experience activity.
  • You have exceptional leadership skills and are able to find the perfect balance between management and leadership, supporting the culture protection within our team whilst driving continuous improvement.
  • You can analyse various data sets to influence activity within the colleague experience department.
  • You have an out-of-the-box thinker with a ‘one team’ mindset, encouraging collaboration across departments and across regions.
