As a Senior Training Manager, you will act as the right-hand person to the Head of Operations Training, ensuring the smooth running of training operations and supporting Training Managers with expertise and guidance. You will solve complex training challenges, apply scalable learning solutions while ensuring compliance with UK regulatory requirements.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
📞 You will work closely with the Head of Operations Training, acting as their right-hand person and ensuring the smooth running of training operations. You are an experienced Operations Training professional, able to solve complex training challenges and apply scalable learning solutions across the business. You will engage with senior leaders, clients, and stakeholders, using my strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and drive training strategies. You will support and collaborate with Training Managers, providing an additional layer of expertise and guidance when needed. You will work closely with the Training Projects Manager to successfully launch new clients and training solutions, ensuring seamless integration into the business. You will represent Operations Training at all levels, confidently presenting training updates and insights during MBRs (Monthly Business Reviews) and QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews). You will collaborate with Quality Assurance and Insights teams to identify training gaps and develop effective learning solutions that address performance challenges.
You will manage and optimise training rooms and resources, ensuring training environments are fully equipped and operating efficiently. You will support the setup of Operations Training at new sites and locations across our South African portfolio, ensuring a consistent and high-quality training experience. You are adaptable and able to apply learning principles at scale, ensuring training solutions are effective across different teams and locations. You will step into line management responsibilities when required, providing leadership and support to teams when necessary. You play a key role in driving continuous improvement in training operations, ensuring learning remains aligned with business and client objectives.

You will use data and insights from Quality Assurance and Operations to identify training gaps and implement improvements. You will support new client deployments, optimise training resources, and ensure learning environments are well-managed.
By engaging with senior leaders and clients, you will align training strategies with business objectives and drive continuous improvement across all training operations. You have hands-on experience in supporting new client launches, working closely with Training Projects Managers to integrate learning solutions into the business. You have a strong ability to deliver MBRs, QBRs, and senior-level presentations, representing Operations Training at all levels. You are experienced in working with senior leaders, external clients, and cross-functional teams, influencing training strategies, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
